Custom grips are not truly “custom” if they don’t fit the grip frame perfectly. This is why I don’t mail grips to customers. There are lots of grip makers out there making grips that fit “pretty good”.  From grips to action work, my customers know that Outlaw Grips is not about “pretty good”. Anybody that owns a set of Outlaw Grips or has had action work done, knows that what they got was a cut above the rest.

Ever notice how mail order grips never fit just right?  Every grip frame on a Colt or Reproduction has a unique finished dimension. Each gun must have a separate pattern made for it. All brands other than Ruger require a “one off” pattern to be made before the grip is made. Many grip makers don’t do this. Quality should not be an option, it should be what you get from a product you spend good money on. If you already own a set of Outlaw Grips you know exactly what I’m talking about. I simply want you to have the nicest looking, finest fitting, best handling grips you can buy.

One-piece grips and grips for the 1875 Remington and Schofield start at $125.00. Go to the bottom of the Gunsmith page for more details.

Please allow 15-20 days for a set to be completed. Ivory, custom inlay like the “Hand of God” grips and other one-of-a-kind designs will take longer.

Outlaw Grips is a small, highly personalized company that operates with the philosophies of the “Old West”; honesty, integrity, commitment to excellence, and ownership of the product quality.  I make them, I shoot them, and I stand behind them.

All grip materials are in raw form so there isn’t an inventory of grips committed to a particular grip frame. If you order a pair, or a set, they will be made specifically for your guns.

Why are my prices so reasonable? I don’t spend money on advertising.  Just like in the old west, I have let word-of-mouth do my advertising. Quality speaks for itself. Whether you have grips made, action work done or both, you won’t be disappointed. You have my word on it.

Outlaw Grips also makes one-of-kind custom silver and gold designs for grips, scarf slides, hat bands and pendants. These designs and castings are made completely “in house”. What exactly does this mean? See the Silversmith page.
